I get asked this question so much, I'm happy to help. Stay away from shirts with too much text on them, outrageous colors, in general, anything too busy. Patterns are great, but stay away from anything extremely small and tight in repeating pattern. Matching outfits for entire families are a definite no go. Instead, try selecting an accent color and weaving it into everyone's outfits if you really love a match. It looks tailored and modern.
